Not at the moment — sightseeing flights are temporarily suspended due to martial law and the closure of Ukrainian airspace. That is why right now we are not selling anything or accepting payment. Leave a request for a flight or a gift certificate — with no payment and no obligation. As soon as flights resume and we open sales, we will let you know first and agree on a convenient date.

A certificate that was valid as of 24.02.2022 does not expire: you can use it once flights resume, and we extend its term individually — we will agree the flight date with each holder separately. A certificate that expired before 24.02.2022 is not extended. Send us the certificate number — a manager will check it and explain how to use it.

A 12-minute sightseeing flight over Kyiv is 7,599 UAH for the whole helicopter, up to 3 passengers: alone, as a couple or three of you — the price is the same. Prices for all seven routes are in the catalogue. We are not taking payments right now; the prices are for reference.

There is another option: on the 12-, 18- and 24-minute routes there is a shared flight — you buy two seats, we add the third passenger, and the flight departs once the group is complete.

Yes, on the 12-, 18- and 24-minute routes there is a shared flight: you buy one seat and the flight departs as soon as a full group of three passengers is gathered, usually at weekends. A seat on the 12-minute flight is 2,533 UAH. If you would rather not wait, take the whole helicopter: the price is the same for one, two or three passengers.

A shared flight only departs with a full group of three. The third passenger usually turns up within a few days, sometimes a week; the day before, we call every passenger and confirm the flight. If the group does not come together, we offer another date or an upgrade to the price of the whole helicopter, and then you fly without the third passenger.

There is no separate child price: a child takes a full separate seat, and the price for the whole helicopter is the same.

The routes run over the Dnipro and Kyiv: the bridges, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, Ukraine-Mother (formerly the Motherland Monument), the Arch of Freedom of the Ukrainian People (formerly the Arch of Friendship of Peoples), Trukhaniv Island; the longer routes — Mezhyhiria, the Church on the Water, Prypiat and Chornobyl. We do not fly over residential areas — those are the rules, so the route goes around them.

The 18-minute flight is the same route over the centre of Kyiv plus an extra loop over the left bank.

It is 12 minutes in the air. From the moment the rotors start until they stop, about 15 minutes go by.

A Robinson R44: up to three passengers, not counting the pilot. Every passenger has a separate seat with a belt and a headset — you can talk to the pilot during the flight.

Yes, free of charge: a phone, a GoPro or a small camera, as long as it does not get in the pilot’s way. In the R44 you get good shots even without opening the window. We cannot guarantee the front seat — the pilot decides the seating to balance the helicopter.

We fly in daylight: the last departure is before sunset, and the last slot is counted back from sunset.

We are not selling certificates right now — we take requests with no payment and no obligation, and we will let you know first as soon as we open sales. A certificate is a paid flight with an open date: the person you give it to chooses the date and the company.

6 months. For certificates bought after sales reopen, the count starts from the date flights resume, not from the day of purchase. An unused certificate can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; after that it does not expire — we move the flight date instead.

No, the certificate is not personalised — anyone can use it. It carries a number, the route name and the validity period; a paper one can include a note saying who it is from.

For a specific route: the value of the certificate is the price of the chosen route for the whole helicopter. There are no certificates for an arbitrary amount.

There are two kinds: paper and electronic — a PDF with a QR code that shows on the website whether the certificate is valid. Neither is personalised. The manager will confirm which kind is available to you.

Issuing and delivery are on hold right now, just like sales. We will explain how it all works when we open sales.

Yes, to a longer route — you pay the difference. The manager arranges the change.

There is no set minimum age. Every child takes a separate seat; children cannot sit on laps. A small child may be frightened by the noise and vibration — talk it over with the manager when you leave a request. The exclusion zone (Prypiat, Chornobyl) is open from the age of 16.

Yes, there is a limit — it relates to the helicopter’s weight and balance. The combined weight of three passengers is up to 250 kg, with up to 120 kg per seat. There is no surcharge for weight. The exact limit depends on the fuel load and is confirmed before departure. If a passenger weighs more than 120 kg or the total exceeds 250 kg, contact us and we will find a solution individually.

We recommend bringing an identity document; for Prypiat and Chornobyl it is mandatory. Before the flight you complete a registration via a link with your passport details — that is how passenger insurance is arranged.

The same as for all passengers: an identity document, so that the insurance can be arranged.

You fly in several departures on the Robinson R44 or in a larger helicopter — as agreed with the manager. The manager calculates the price for the group.

Helitour has been running helicopter tours since 2018. We fly helicopters of a partner airline that has been operating for over 25 years. Our pilots’ flight time is typically over 10,000 hours. Helicopter maintenance is carried out by a certified organisation. You can review the permits in the «Licenses» section.

A helicopter flight is quite calm, but we recommend consulting your doctor beforehand. Please let us know when booking.

The Hydropark mini-airfield in Kyiv, about 15 minutes from the centre. Look for the green gate with the sign «Київська асоціація аеронавтів». There is parking, and an administrator meets you on site. The map pin is on the Contacts page.

15 minutes before departure: a safety briefing and meeting the pilot. If you are late, your slot may be taken by the next passengers — we will move your flight to the nearest free slot.

We are not taking payments right now — only requests with no payment. Once flights resume: no deposit is needed for a flight, you pay on the day — in cash at the airfield or by card transfer. There is no card terminal or ATM at the airfield, so bring cash with you.

We reschedule the flight to another date that suits you, at no extra cost. Safety comes first: flights are not operated in non-flying weather, and the pilot makes the call.

Yes, with no penalty — just let us know at least 24 hours before departure. More details — in the «Refund Policy».

Yes. In winter, as in any season, the decision depends on the weather; we fly from dawn to sunset.

Any clothing is fine — the helicopter cabin is comfortable in any weather. For better photos we recommend avoiding light and very shiny colours (to prevent window glare); footwear should be comfortable.

Flowers, a banner or glasses after landing are arranged by you, and the manager will advise how to coordinate it on site. There is also a fly-past over the celebration with coloured smoke or petals — for a proposal, a gender reveal or an anniversary; the manager calculates the price.

Yes — helicopter hire and charter flights across Ukraine. There are no sightseeing flights over other cities; you get to another city by charter. The manager calculates the price: helicopter model, route and distance.
